Your Impact:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, maintaining organized records, and assisting with various accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Help in processing payroll for employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Support bookkeeping activities, including maintaining financial records, updating ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
- Reconcile bank transactions and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, preparing necessary reports and documentation.
- Respond to finance-related tickets and inquiries from internal teams and external partners, providing timely and accurate information.
Education
- Associate's degree in accounting or a related field.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including formulas and functions)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with payroll processing procedures and software such as ADP or Cerdian

Compensation
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
